Welcome!

On behalf of the club members and elected officers, I welcome you to the Springfield Tactical Shooters (STS) website. This website will provide you with a lot of information about our club and the shooting discipline of practical shooting as defined by the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) and the International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC). There is a lot of information located here, but don’t get overwhelmed. We at STS, want to get new shooters involved, grow our sport and mostly educate people about the world of responsible and safe firearm usage.

We are a family oriented club. We welcome anyone who has interest, no firearm or experience required. All we ask is that you come with an open mind to learn, ask many questions and understand and follow the safety protocols.

We have built a great relationship with the full service Bullet Express Indoor Shooting Range located on Industrial Drive here in Springfield, IL. We shoot year round every week on Thursday night beginning at 5:30 pm. Come and watch for free and the first shoot is on us, yes free! Please contact any of our club officers or members listed if you have additional questions and want to learn more about practical shooting.
